Kotor · Budva
Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor
A fjord-like bay, mountain views and old stone towns, an easy add-on from Dubrovnik.
Sample 8-night trip · April to October 2027
How I’d plan it
- Days 1–4: Kotor. The walled old town, the fortress hike at sunrise, and a boat to Our Lady of the Rocks.
- Days 5–8: Budva and the coast, or combine with Dubrovnik, about two hours away.
What I put together
- Flights from New York (nonstop where possible)
- Hand-picked hotels in each stop
- Private transfers between stops
- The experiences above, booked for your dates
Good to know
This is a sample itinerary, not a priced package. I’ll quote it for your dates, airport and hotels. Summer in Europe books up early, so the sooner the better. A passport valid at least three months past your return is required for these countries. Booked through Fora Travel, Inc.; Traveling Wahoo LLC is an independent travel advisor.
